Duo for Tenor Saxophone and Piano

Forty-two years after composing his venerable Duo for alto saxophone & piano, and some 80 works for saxophone later, Dr. Hartley has provided a companion Duo for tenor players. Cast in 3/4 meter, an expressive andante is followed by a one-to-the-bar allegro. With three altissimo spots at the option of the performer, this new work is ideal for less-experienced students as well as professionals.
