Programme notes:
Aktor/Reaktor II was written as a groovy yet dramatic ouverture for the twelve tenors inaugural gig at the Sax Open.
After a couple of scary noises in the beginning it turns into a minimal style groove piece that builds up to a joyful melody which is very much inspired by piece called Storyboard, written by Volker Kriegel for United Jazz and Rock Ensemble. After a chorus section this melody returns, followed by a coda based on the beginning pattern. And that's it.
